Project Overview
Good Housekeeping’s Spotlighting Accessibility was a multi-platform initiative dedicated highlight how design, technology, and daily living should be more inclusive for everyone. The package blended expert reporting, personal storytelling, and service journalism to educate and empower readers navigating accessibility challenges. Beyond content, the project reimagined how accessibility could shape design itself—from color contrast and typography to photography and UX choices—ensuring inclusivity wasn’t just the subject, but the foundation of the storytelling.
ROLE
I led the creative vision for this initiative, overseeing the digital design system and visual storytelling across all platforms. I translated the print feature into an expanded digital experience, commissioning a disability activist and illustrator to co-create a cohesive visual language and social toolkit. Collaborating with editors, accessibility advocates, and product experts, I ensured the final experience balanced clarity, empathy, and function.
